Kingdom Law, LLC is a Christian faith-informed estate planning law firm built on a simple belief: families deserve more than legal documents. They deserve clarity, confidence, and a plan.
We help individuals, families, business owners, and faith communities throughout Maryland protect their assets, preserve their values, and prepare the next generation through thoughtful estate and legacy planning. Whether creating a will, establishing a trust, planning for incapacity, or protecting a family business, our goal is to make complex legal decisions understandable and actionable.
Education is central to our mission. We are passionate about increasing legal literacy, helping families make informed decisions, and creating a culture of stewardship where legacy planning becomes a normal part of building and protecting wealth.
Kingdom Law is proud to be a Black-owned, woman-owned, and Christian-owned law firm dedicated to helping people steward what they have built and leave a lasting impact for generations to come.
Meet Dionne A. Woodson, Esq.
Founder & Principal Attorney | Kingdom Law, LLC
Most people do not wake up excited to talk about estate planning.
In fact, many of the families I meet have spent years building businesses, raising children, serving their communities, and caring for the people they love, yet they have never had a meaningful conversation about what would happen if something unexpected occurred. Not because they do not care, but because no one has explained the process in a way that feels approachable, empowering, and relevant to their lives.
That is why I founded Kingdom Law, LLC.
As a first-generation lawyer, first-generation entrepreneur, and first-generation Christian, I understand what it means to create a path where one did not previously exist. My journey has taught me that access to knowledge can change the trajectory of a family, and that belief influences everything I do.
I help individuals, families, business owners, and faith communities create thoughtful plans that protect the people, values, and opportunities they have worked so hard to build. Whether we are discussing wills, trusts, incapacity planning, business succession, or wealth preservation, my goal is always the same: to help clients make informed decisions with confidence and clarity.
As a neurodivergent attorney, I developed an early appreciation for the power of education, clear communication, and thoughtful systems. Those experiences shaped my passion for making complex legal concepts understandable and practical. One of my greatest strengths is translating sophisticated planning strategies into language that clients can actually understand and use.
My commitment to education extends far beyond my law practice. I am a speaker, teacher, and advocate for legal literacy, particularly in communities that have historically lacked access to estate planning education. I am passionate about helping women, families, business owners, and faith communities understand the tools available to protect their loved ones, preserve generational wealth, and steward their resources with confidence.
Faith is woven into both my personal life and professional calling. My studies through Dallas Theological Seminary, combined with years of biblical teaching, ministry leadership, and service within my local church, have shaped my understanding of stewardship, legacy, and generational impact. Those principles continue to influence the way I serve clients today. While Kingdom Law welcomes clients from all backgrounds and beliefs, we are founded on the conviction that what God entrusts to us should be managed wisely, protected intentionally, and transferred faithfully.
In 2022, I launched Kingdom Law with a vision of building a law firm that combined legal excellence with genuine client education. Since then, life has brought some of my greatest blessings. I married my husband, Jelani, in 2024 and welcomed our daughter, Drue, in 2025. Becoming a wife and mother deepened my understanding of the very conversations I have with clients every day. Questions about guardianship, incapacity, family protection, and legacy are no longer just legal concepts to me. They are deeply personal.
Outside the office, I am a wife, mother, dancer, teacher, and lifelong Baltimore Ravens fan. For more than 27 years, dance, particularly ballet, has taught me discipline, excellence, creativity, and grace under pressure. Those same qualities shape the way I practice law and serve my clients today. You can also find me laughing with my family, serving at church, cheering on the Ravens, and occasionally reminding my husband that Baltimore's football team is still God's favorite.
At Kingdom Law, we believe planning should bring peace, not pressure. My clients are looking for clarity, confidence, and a trusted guide who can help them navigate important decisions without feeling overwhelmed. It is a responsibility I do not take lightly.
Thank you for considering Kingdom Law. It would be an honor to help you protect what matters most and create a plan that reflects your values, your vision, and the legacy you hope to leave behind.
